    Question to Craig.

This is a really nice idea ;) Although I'm not sure if it would help or not, but it's worth a try :)

A list of ideas i have XBLIG

I don't mean to be rude, but a lot of this has been suggested before. Although, I do have to agree with you in terms of the music part, however that's already being dealt with by the new music guy (I forget his name). So that should be nice ;)

    Heaven Seed?

Sounds kinda violent for heaven don't ya think? Hehe, anyway, I like the heaven part of it, but the mobs and the combat, well that part could be modified a bit ;)

    V1.65 bugs

I see what you mean, although, it would essentially be the same as waiting to receive the data from the map itself that's being hosted like in 1.5. But instead of the map being hosted on it's own server, you (or in this case me/the player, would be the server) at least to my understanding. So it pretty much depends on both players connections speed as well as map size correct? If this is the case I don't think the wait would be too much longer than in 1.5, but it would still be longer than usual. I believe this is what you were trying to get at. And to me, that's not to bad, doing a little extra waiting isn't the end of the world considering you at least know the map is still going to load and at least it will most likely load faster than in the update before 1.5 (although as the size of the map increase this could change). This is a very difficult/annoying situation, and it's mostly due to the xbox not being able to take as much as a computer would. Anyway, I'm going to go ahead and end this reply here, I'm sure you don't want to hear about what makes this problem as annoying as it is, you've most likely already went over that yourself. But as for my answer to this little situation, that saving feature would be nice, if it does get added, I'll no doubtingly run some extreme stress tests on it and let you know how it goes over by posting a post (or if you want I could message you back, that is if you're interested in hearing the results). And with that, I hope you have a good day, and I'll be waiting eagerly for your reply. -rex (not to be confused with the new "rex" guy on the forums

    V1.65 bugs

I defiantly would, in fact, that would be wonderful if that option could be added in again, just till things with the new loading feature become more refined (assuming it will be). And even if it's not at least we'll still have the old load option in. Also, I apologize for this unrelated question, but, can devs see who down rated/uprated posts? I'm just wondering because someone down rated your response to my post and I didn't want anyone to think that I was raging or anything (because when you think about it it makes perfect sense that I would be the one to down rate your post). Anyway, I went ahead fixed that just for that reason alone. Also, to anyone else who is reading this message (and possibly the guy who down rated Craig's post) There is a time and place for the down rate option, but for things like simple replies and even someone's opposite opinion on something, that's not really the time to use it. Anyway, that's just what I think, do with it what you will, but I trust the TM community, there of good people who for the most part, know what they're doing ;)

    V1.65 bugs

This may sound a bit odd but I would rather sit in the lobby knowing that it would eventually load than fly around stopping every 3 seconds and having to wait around 10 seconds for it to load just to have it happen again within the next 3 seconds, never knowing when the map is going to fully load (if it does load). And on top of that all you get to see is the top halves of buildings and such, at least in my case. And that my friend is why it was frustrating. Now, I'm probably going to get a negative rep for this reply but this is just my opinion and if people don't like it that much to negative rep it, than that's just saddening to me. But none the less, I don't want this to sound rude (although it most likely will anyway) but from what I've seen lately in the TM scene, there has been a bit of errors in terms of updates. And I'm not going to go over all of them as I'm sure everyone already knows what they are (they involve 1.6 and 1.65). Now, I really liked 1.5, everything was pretty much perfect, I mean sure the loading was a bit of an annoyance, but it was still reliable. However, after 1.6/1.65 came out I feel everything is just going down hill, at least on a technical side of things. And it leads me to wonder, with all these different problems that keep popping up in these supposedly new and better updates, how do the beta testers manage to miss them? Are they just testing the game on small maps or just doing quick and not in depth tests? Whatever the case, there always seems to be multiple problems, and as a game designer myself I know that you can't fix every problem, but this is the second update now and on top of that it's supposed to be a fix for the least one but instead, it just increased the problems/annoyances from it. Although I do appreciate the new additions that have been put into the game. Anyway, my suggestion if you aren't doing this already, is to test updates on bigger maps, such as 40 - 50mb maps. I guarantee you'll find more problems and in tern be able to fix them before the release of the update. Of course I understand that you have a child now as well and the rest of Greenstone is of a busy people, however you have to understand that continuous problems in newer updates will eventually lead to the loss of fans/player and overall the death of the game. And after all you guys as your game has been through I'd hate to see that happen. So, with all that said, I hope to see some improvement in the future and I really do wish you, and everyone else at Greenstone the best of luck. -rex

    V1.65 bugs

So far, after updating about an hour ago, these are the bugs/annoyances I found so far: Bug: Now I'm not sure if this is just a one time thing that happens when you first run TM in 1.65, but basically what happened is, I was in my world on local, when a friend invited me to his world that he was hosting on xbl. I then proceeded to accept the invite when my xbox froze. And although I could still talk to him in the party, nothing including my controller could work. I ended up waiting around 15 mins and nothing happened, so I just ended up restarting me xbox and everything was back to normal again. Haven't tested this again, but I might try later to see if I can duplicate this bug. Annoyance: Alright, so as most everyone who has been keeping up with the Dev updates knows, Craig has been working on a way to make it so people can join other people's worlds faster than ever by being able to join a world, then while in the world having it load in real time. However, after about 30 mins in someone else's 48mb world, this became terribly frustrating and eventually I just quit to the menu. Now some of you are probably saying "well you just have to wait till the world loads, and at least you can actually be in the world instead of doing nothing" And here's my answer to that, I'd rather be doing nothing that having to deal with this Oh so frustrating mechanic, because after the time I waited, the world still didn't fully load. It ended up being a mess and I hope over time it will be smoothed out a bit. Anyway, that's what I have so far, hopefully I won't find to many more ;)
  10. Hey guys, I know this is a bit old, but I just noticed it. IndieGames.com has a posted a little thing about Microsoft recognizing some of the indie games on the marketplace most of them being Minecraft clones (as they call them) and one of em is Total Miner! Although they don't necessarily mention TM, Tm's logo is the thumbnail for the post ;) Check out the post here: http://indiegames.com/2011/12/microsoft_honors_minecraft_clo.html

    Bump??

Bumping is basically a way of keeping your topic/thread alive. In other words, when someone posts something on your topic/thread, in this case the word "Bump" the topic/thread will automatically rise to the top of the list along with the other new or popular topic/threads. People usually bump when they want their topic/thread to be seen ;)

If night time is liek the secret seed...

I'm happy that it's that way, it actually makes it a good challenge and gives you the feeling that, well, it's dangerous outside at night!

    The photo you requested ^^

I have the same problem, also, sometimes I can't even join my friends because they're not on the list of people hosting even thought they're hosting and other people are joining them. I really hope all this gets fixed soon :(
