How about you require 50 posts for people to access the shoutbox. Maybe have people automatically moved to a shoutbox group when they reach 50 posts?

50 is a bit too much, say if new members sign up and want too speak they have too wait till 50 posts, which is quite a lot and then more posts will happen on the website.

You guys, the reason I chose 50 is if somebody were to spam, you can catch them before they have access to the shoutbox. Another reason is you can treat it as a nice reward for members who are dedicated. Clinql I am a retired staff of XM and it's not that hard to handle reports.

I may just install a hook/app where you have to 1. Read our toss first 2 make a introduction thread 3 then possible make it where they have to get 5-10 posts to talk in Shoutbox

5-10 is pointless. You tell me how much of a difference that's going to make? The shout box should be for people who know how to post and chat, And I think they would know how to do that by 50.
