Martinsx 1 Report post Posted July 2, 2018 It has been a long debate whether to increase the use of technology in football. Some prominent players, coaches and managers are against it with the opinion that it would kill the fun in the game, and also it would reduce the power of the referee officiating a match. We have come to see their arguments come to reality with some errors and blunder the VAR have brought so far in the on going Russia 2018 world cup. Although, the VAR has helped get some decisions correct but seeing referees being forced by players to go watch the VAR television is something FIFA needs to adjust. They are making the referee look stupid.
huggypillows 0 Report post Posted July 3, 2018 Im not so into sports but sometimes I like watching it too. like everyone is talking about whats going on world cup 2018 that they look so disappointed for the game. Im curious thats why Im trying to watch sometimes. If VAR will be good for this why not. Technology is part of our life now. Its hard to refuse the technology can give us but I think a physical referee is better if still there. They can give the referee a equipment to monitor the whole game but not whole thing letting the technology to do all the job.
focusedwriter10 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2018 VAR is good and should be used in all games. They are helping in solving problems. Manipulation of technology is not easier.
