"I do think at a certain point you?ve made enough money!"

Recommended Posts

Obama: "Now, what we?re doing -- I want to be clear, we?re not trying to push financial reform because we begrudge success that's fairly earned. I mean, I do think at a certain point you?ve made enough money."

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2010/04/28/obama_to_wall_street_i_do_think_at_a_certain_point_youve_made_enough_money.html

Really? Coming from the man who made 5.5 Million in 2009! 4.9 Million in 2008! 4.2 Million in 2007! Almost 1 Million in 2006!

http://www.swamppolitics.com/news/politics/blog/2008/04/obamas_2007_income_42_million.html

Who decides that number? What is that number? Is it a number over the near 15.4 million Obama has made in the last 4 years?

I know the liberals like to defend his every word. But with this statement even the most left of center person has to look at Obama and call foul and hypocrite!

Political opportunist at least. Goldman game Obama near 1 million for his campaign. In his campaign panic (yes he is campaigning now), Obama has turned the dogs on the people who made him.

Bush got nailed for Enron by the left because of his energy ties.

Why isnt Obama getting nailed for Goldman because of his ties and support for them?

For those who cried foul when the supreme court decided Private Companies can campaign for their candidate. Where is your stance now that Goldman used its companies money to push Obama?

LOL, somebody was watching Fox and Friends this morning. Not surprisingly they took it out of context in their mad search to paint Obama as a Socialist, which is really funny considering they also are doing their damndest to portray him as some corporate lackey.

Let me finish the quote for you. " but you know, part of the American way is, you can just keep on making it if you're providing a good product."

The even funnier part is nowhere on Fox will the rest of the quote be mentioned, which in turn means that the rest of that quote will not be hung on the inevitable tea party sign. Fair and Balanced, yo.

Edit: How convenient is it that the video cuts off as soon as he say the money line. lmfao, nice editing job.

I left for work at 4:45 am.. No F&F for me.

I read the whole thing. It was more like

Sincere: "Now, what we?re doing -- I want to be clear, we?re not trying to push financial reform because we begrudge success that's fairly earned. I mean, I do think at a certain point you?ve made enough money."

Sarcasm: But, you know, part of the American way is, you know, you can just keep on making it if you?re providing a good product or providing good service. We don?t want people to stop, ah, fulfilling the core responsibilities of the financial system to help grow our economy.

Too many "You knows" not to be sarcasm.

Now. Get off of Fox and read.

That's BS on both fronts. He means the socialist bit but the rest which completes his thought while clarifying his point is sarcasm. Pulease.

Actually I think you should get off of Fox news and read the articles you posted. From the most credible (Scientific American), imo. "Fox News showed a statistically significant Pro-Republican bias in the most controlled of the three models Groeling tested"

that graph is asinine, btw. Fox news is exactly balanced and MSNBC is off the wall skewed. Surely you're just trying to wind me up with this nonsense.

You forgot a Portion before your quote: From the most credable source as you pointed out.

Groeling found that, with varying degrees of statistical significance, CBS, NBC and ABC showed what Groeling calls a pro-Democrat bias. For instance, CBS was 35 percent less likely to report a five-point drop in approval for Bill Clinton than a similar rise in approval and was 33 percent more likely to report a five-point drop than a rise for George W. Bush.
I am not sure how much clearer I can put this. I DO NOT WATCH FOX NEWS!

I watch no news in the morning at 4am before work. I listen to the NFL channel on Sirius on my way to and from work. And watch NCIS and Law and Order when i get home. I watched Frank the Entertainer "A basement Affair" while it was running.. That show rocked!

Graph source.

Asinine Graph? Nonsense? The truth is insane? It comes from Journalism.org The Pew Research Center. I suppose they are not a credible source. Or were they until you did not care for these results?

The problem with Fox is that they are fucking retarded. If they weren't so retarded maybe they'd be worth watching. But they are just retarded.

Says the guy with a finger for an avatar. If I watch any affiliate of FOX it is FBN because I like Cavuto. He will ram hard questions at Dems, Repubs, Popes, everyone. He is the devils Advocate for the Devil. No matter who he is talking to he will ask questions both pro and con to any stance.

I heard this interview. She spun he kept on jabbing.
